My qualifications are in Nutritional Medicine, and I have undertaken further study with ACNEM (Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine), attended SHEICON, and have engaged in regular mentoring with Carolyn Ledowsy, who is Australia's leading MTHFR/ Nutrigenomics practitioner. I have a strong belief in foundational medicine which involves optimising ground roots strategies such as diet, sleep, stress, breathing, and other necessary avenues depending on the patient. Layered on top of this comes a biochemical approach; identifying biological pathways using various testing strategies to gain the most information possible. I work with general pathology a great deal, and regularly pick up issues not seen by general doctors. This is often a game changer for patients. My main interests are methylation/ nutrigenomics, thyroid issues, SIBO & other gastrointestinal disorders, mental health (including pyrroles), chronic fatigue, and generally helping people achieve their peak potential. My approach can get technical, but persona is very much contrasted. I am very down to earth and nurturing, and work WITH patients according to their values, current depth of understanding, and willingness to make changes to their health.
